This is a little off topic, but I'm just a bit curious.. How far do you guys go with the 'Build Your Own/DIY' thing?
Are there any other interesting, but unrelated projects going on? BYO Pinball? MP3 player for the car, etc??
After finishing my cabinet, I've had the 'itch' to work on something else. It wasn't my first project, and it definitely won't be my last, and I just have the feeling that creative types, such as ourselves, probably don't just stop at making cabinets. I guess I'm curious to get a more well-rounded picture of you guys. Maybe someone has something 'cooking' that I'd also like to take a shot at making...
I'll start off with a project that caught my eye... I've been subscribing to a kit car magazine for the past few years. Regardless of whether or not I would ever make one myself, it was always interesting to see what cool little cars these guys would come up with, just as I look at every cabinet web site that pops up even though I'm already finished with my own. Anyway, a few months ago a car caught my eye.. Not only did it look great, but after a bit of research, it looks like a project that I am probably capable of doing.
