I also have the X-10 anywhere... I LOVE it!!! I have it wired to a muchine dedicated on my network as the jukebox, wired to 2 stereo receivers in the house. Using the Ampapod plug-in for WinAmp, you can control WinAmp with the remote. Even as far as inputting a song # to play which corresponds to the WinAmp songlist. Pause, FF, scan, shuffle , stop, fade out, etc. from anywhere in my house. The jukebox on the network reads approx. 10,000 tunes.
Another cool product from X-10 that is pretty cool is the video sender, which is the same package as the MP3 anywhere or the DVD anywhere (contains the same A/V remote sender receiver units). Check the prices on the individual packages because all the units are the same.... receiver unit, sender unit and a remote control, just different names on the packages. The video Sender units, you can plug the sender units to VCRs in your house and the receiver units to multiple TVs and watch a video thats playing in one part of the house and watch it in another. With a couple units you can have multiple channels of video by selecting a switch on the receiver portion of the unit.
