shouldn't be a seperate switch for the monitor.

try tracing the power wires from the monitor PCB down to the transformer to make sure they have not come away during transport.

do the same to the jamma wiring harness (or pcb interface if not jamma)

sounds obvious but, check the brightness control on the monitor BCP (make sure it's not turned all the way down)

Finally be carefull but switch the machine on and look in the back fro a glow round the neck of the tube (this will ensure the transformer is working and power is getting to the tube).

I can not stress enough BE CAREFUL the voltage from the tube HT is very high, you do not even have to touch anything to get a nasty shock, it can ark accross to you if your'e too close.
