Happ, Optpac, Fultra and mounting questions......

I'm getting close on my designs. My Visio diagram is
just about complete. I do have a few questions if
you have time...

Currently within my design I'm going with:

Opti-Pac Plus Interface
1 x Happ 8 way rotary joystick (50-5618-00)
1 x Happ 3" track ball (56-0100-16)
1 x Fultra spinner
10 x Happ pushbuttons (58-9166-L)

My Questions:

1) Does the Happ 3" track ball (56-0100-16)require power? I see that the Happ trackball interface does, which brings me to my next question:

2) I see the Opti-pac plus requires a 5v power supply,
I was thinking of going with a USB connetion (as I'm building a stand alone crontoller not a cabinet and I'm
happy with mame32) Does the Opti-pac plus pull the 5v from the usb or will I have to run a separte 5v connection?

3) Will the Opti-pac plus support this configuration:
1 x Happ 8 way rotary joystick (50-5618-00)
1 x Happ 3" track ball (56-0100-16)
1 x Fultra spinner
10 x Happ pushbuttons (58-9166-L)

4) To connect devices to the Opti-pac plus will I have to cut off the molded connectors and connect the individual wires?

5) Do the Happ joystick and track balls come with
mounting bolts? or are these a separate order?

What would I do without you lot?? Thanks for all your help.
