I always have to be the bad guy. :(
With all do respect to the creator(s) of emuloader, it's the exact oppostie fo what every fe developer aroudn these parts is working on. It's extremely "windowsy" and we are trying to do the exact opposite. Delphi is also a rather strange choice for a prog lang. It seems that emul could have been made much more rapidly in vb or even v c++. But I'm bitchin as usual so you can just disregard all of that if it offends you.
As for the tables and such.... It's pretty much agreed that vp needs some standardization to match it's more structured vpinmame counterpart. If you could convince eveyone to do that then adding support would be extremely easy.
As for the artwork... If someone can help me find all of it then I would be willing to clean it up, give it a proper naming convention(assuming we could all agree on one), and convert it to the more common png format. We would have to find a host for it though as I doubt oscar would be willing to put the several megs of stuff up at the rd homepage.
As usual I'll help however I can,

: Question 1: Anyone know what's going to become of Visual Pinball with the DoS attacks. The main site has been unavailable for over a week now.
: Question 2: Peter (Emulaxian) recently posted here http://www.arcadecontrols.speedhost.com/wwwboard/messages/40215.html about how he had added code that Howard Casto added to Raging Dragon to make these frontends work with Visual Pinball.
: This is great, but I really like the look and feel of Emuloader http://www.mameworld.net/emuloader/ for MAME and would like to use a second copy of EL for Visual Pinball.
: It's programmed in Delphi (don't know if either of you are familiar with this program)and the source is available from the MW site. I contacted the author and he is not interested in modifying it, but he had no objections if someone else did.
: Would anyone be willing to modify the EL source code to support VPinball and either post or E-mail me a copy of the compiled binary. I also posted this on the EL message board. I don't need the latest version of EL, if someone has access to an older version and it is easier to code.
: Thanks in advance for any advice!
