What are the most processor/ram/vid card intensive MAME roms? And what does it take to run them?

I have been toying with buying a new PC for my now finished cabinet and just wanted to get some feedback from people on this. Even with my p700/128MR/32MB Vid card none of the NBA Jams play for crap. Unplayable is more like it. Just too slow and jerky. My MAME PC is only a p300/128MB RAM/onboard video. Is is just MAME or is it really my computer(s)? I have never had any problems running any graphic intensive 3D PC games before.

Can anyone run Maximum Hangtime or any of the NBA Jam roms at full speed? If so what is your computer setup: Processor/RAM/Video Card?
