I had the same delima a few weeks ago. The Wells-Gardner U3100 was my choice for a few reasons.

1. I got it new for $250 from WG by asking the service dept for a refurb.

2. I am using a Williams Cabinet (used to be a stargate) and it fit perfectly on the shelf, and the holse even lined up.

3. It *does* look like an arcade monitor. The dot-pitch is large and it gives a retro type look. However, there are no true scanlines.

4. It plugs into my card - no cables to make, etc.

5. It works in Windows. Its not the easiest to read due to the large dot-pitch, but it works pretty good.

6. A 19" PC Monitor is not 19" viewable. The WG is a 19" monitor with 19" viewable.
