You might try www.happcontrols.com for replacement buttons. As for upgrading the game, at the very least you'll need updated ROMs. It may however require a completely different circuit board too.

: hey all - i can't get newsgroups at work or at home so i can only hope there are coin-op aficionados here on this board...

: I picked up, for fairly low cash, semi-working uprights of Street Fighter II and Gyruss yesterday.

: Gyruss -the only thing that happens when powered up is the marquee lights up. want to restore this one as it's all original.

: SFII - sound is fine, graphics are fine and all buttons work except the three Kick buttons for each player. want to get it working and then maybe upgrade to SuperSFII or III...

: also any cosmetic restoration tips would be great!
