I understand this and bought these knowing there were problems. I have a buddy who insists that fixing it ourselves will be fun and productive, even though I'm more than willing to pay cash money for their repair (especially for the gyruss - possibly my second fave of all time below galaga). Will see what we can do ourselves (aforementioned friend is the electronics guy) and then i'll go for the hired guns.

I did figure though, that you MAME guys would know much more about fixing stuff since emulation seems to require creative wiring solutions much of the time, makes actual arcade machines pale in comparison to complexity of mamecades)
