Using Windows Emulators In ArcadeOS...

Hey folks,

I've switched over to Win98 to make my machine more robust and to allow the Windows ports to run some emulation, however I am sticking with ArcadeOS as my frontend. I'm wondering if anyone else here's doing the same thing.

I've found, for one at least, ZSNES gets TONS better graphics in the Windows port. Unless I am missing something with the DOS port. RockNESX also seems to do much better in Windows. Here's the problem though - Getting these emulators to exit back to ArcadeOS. I don't think RockNESX has command line support yet, but ZSNESW does. It launches ROMs slowly, but fine, but when I exit the emulator, it brings me back to the Windows desktop with ArcadeOS minimzed. So the key is to get it to autmatically maximize ArcadeOS when it quits out.

Anyone have any ideas on how to make this happen? I'd also be interested to hear if anyone's had any luck getting other Windows-based emus to work from the ArcadeOS frontend. My goal is to even include PSX, Nebula, N64 and other stuff, of course that is probably going to take a LOT of APP tweaking and work.

Thanks folks,

Brad
