I would definitely find use for that app if you could do it. Something that just runs resident and returns focus back to AOS after a Win emulator exits would be perfect.

As for a windows version of ArcadeOS, I really would be interested in this. It's open source but folks are having trouble getting it to compile. My programming experience is limited. Honestly, though, in my opinion, the only frontend out there that comes as close to giving you a good in-cabinet experience is AdvanceMENU, which doesn't offer open-end emulator support right now.

I think an enhanced ArcadeOS that worked well from within Windows (even if it remained a DOS application) would be a great tool. The functionality that frontend offers as far as the capability to expand into other emulations with .APP files is perfect for a multi-emulator cabinet system.

I'm still waiting for a brave PC whiz to take on the task and do it though. Maybe some emulation fan will eventually do it. :)
