Well, here's my situation. About two weeks ago, I bought a used Jamma
cabinet. The cab itself was in pretty rough shape, but the monitor (at the
time) worked great, and it was a 25 incher, so I bought it. As I waited for
the computer parts to come, I put a lot of work into prettying up the
cabinet. I replaced two wooden panels, changed the locks, sanded the case
down and repainted, made a new control panel, etc. Well, yesterday I got
the computer parts. I put it together and set up ArcadeOS and AdvancedMAME
on it using a 15 inch VGA monitor. The last thing I did was to configure
ArcadeOS and AdvancedMAME for the arcade monitors settings, and I turned it
off.

After looking around the web, I'm sure I wired the VGA to arcade monitor
cable correctly. The only signals I needed are red, green, and blue
outputs, and the ground and h and v-sync, right? Anyways, I wired it all
up, started the computer, and waited for the three beeps from ArcadeOS. I
turned on the monitor, and nothing. So I tried a different video card.
Nothing. One more video card. Still nothing. I rechecked my cable, and
all my connections seemed fine. I hooked the computer back up to a VGA
monitor. When ArcadeOS comes up, my screen goes crazy, so I assume that
it's outputting the correct signal.

I hooked the computer back up to the cabinet, and turned the screen control
up, and I got a white screen with diagonal lines on it. When I start a Mame
game through ArcadeOS, and when I escape out of ArcadeOS, the screen
"shifts" into a new position, so it is at least picking up something from
the computer. So, am I doing something wrong? Is there something wrong
with the monitor? This problem is really frustrating me because I've put a
lot of work into this cabinet already, and I don't have the money to replace
this monitor, a Wells-Gardner 25K7107. Can anyone help me?
