Try moving your sync wires around...try them hooked separately to H and V, -h and -v, then try them hooked together to each of the four sync inputs. Also, you should have 5 ground wires hooked together, not just one ground wire.
You will have to set the v-hold and h-hold almost definitely...but you should see colors...not just a white screen.
I have never used AdvanceMame...I just use ArcadeOS and Mame.
