Vertical Games on Horizontal Arcade Monitor

Hi all,

I'm considering changing the PC monitor in my arcade cabinet to a true arcade monitor. I am wondering how vertical games look when displayed on a horizontally mounted arcade monitor. What resolutions would be supported? I currently use 400x300 on my PC monitor and it looks reasonable. Eventually I plan on making the cabinet so that I will be able to rotate the monitor but one thing at a time ;).
