A fixed frequency monitor requires a fixed frequency video card.

Those are two companies that make these. I have heard of people setting up normal video cards (matrox milliniums) at the right frequency in windows to one specific resolution, but everything will look wacky in dos mode. I have never had any luck using fixed frequency monitors on anything but fixed frequency cards.
