Its really easy to do..First I would connect your buttons and stuff to a barrier strip then you can just screw the wires from your I/O header into the barrier strip. After that then you just need to run the set up program that comes with the encoder( it is very simple to use.) then your done and ready to rock. Just watch your common ground I had one of my solders come loose and only half of my panel worked at first (what a head scratch). Good Luck
