I really don't want a dir with 4000 roms in it... while it dosen't make any diff when the fe is running, it's a bi*ch to work with when your cleaning up your roms..... I also don't like the exact way afx is doing it.... I don't like being told where I have to keep my roms, that's why when I do it for rd you'll still be able to point to paths. And although I like the way emuwizard does it, it's impractical for my front-end. I like to sort roms via emulator primarily.... Can you imagine the kind of complex database I would have to maintain if you could put any rom for any emu anywhere? I'm going to find some better organization for mame... that's a given, but the others will most likley stay as they are unless someone can suggest a better solution that would be farily easy to implement.
: : Your supposed to sort your roms yourself... thats why I give you 6 mame dirs..
: : An external sorting program is in development though...
: Personally I don't like the idea, like arcadefx and you are doing , of moving roms around by splitting roms of an emulator in different directories. I think the frontend should do this job preferably with good database support like sirpoonga mentioned or the way it is allready in emuwizzard...I must say I like emuwizzard more and more it is really efficient in the things it does...
