An intuitive owner would keep a screwdriver handy, like on top of the cab for the conversion. :)
Seriously, I haven't timed myself, but it probably takes about 10-15 seconds. A lot easier than opening my control panel and switching over the joystick actuator, that's for sure. I did investigate many different possibilities for securing the restrictors, such as pins, quick releases, etc... Nothing else would hold up to the pounding of the joystick, and maintain an accurate position of the cutout.
