Can I use a switched arcade psu to power JUST my arcade monitor with no jamma board

Hey guys.

I just finished reconditioning a dusty old arcade cabinet by giving it a lick of paint and putting a pc running mame inside it. I used the j-pac interface to get the controls working and its all fine so far. The problem is powering the monitor.

The guy that sold me the cab took out the psu cos he said it was bust and I said cool cos I wont need it anway as I was doing a mame conversion. But I want to power the monitor and all the nice marque lights and so on...so can I just buy a working arcade psu and use it as I thought I couldnt because it would have no jamma board in it thus not having enough load. will it work??!??
