First, when you talk dos and sound you should only think of the one and only company that has been in the sound busisness from the beginning.
Get a SB Pro or SB16.
Not sure if the New Lives have dos drivers or the 128s.

If you use USB mice you just need windows98 and URebel's mame hacks.
