8-way = 4 inputs
8-way = 4
4-way = 4
Buttons = 15

Total = 27 inputs

IPac can handle 28 inputs leaving you with one extra.

However, why exactly do you need the 3 buttons for the 4 player stick? I see people do this sometimes and I think it's excessive and clutters the panel too much. You will NEVER use an 8-way at the same time as a 4-way so why not just use a set of buttons from one of the 8-ways? This can easily be designed and will more than likely happen to turn out that way anyway. Doing it this way will allow you 4 extra buttons, 2 of which you can use as Start buttons and the other 2 you can put on the cab sides as pinball buttons, on the front as coin or admin buttons, or whatever!

: i am also putting together a mame cabinet soon and i will be gettin the ipac too. i am plannin on puttin (2) 8-ways with 6 buttons for each, (1) 4-way with 3 buttons, and a trackball via mouse hack. can someone tell me how many more extra buttons i can have on this cp with ipac? cuz i still need to have 1 & 2 player buttons and some other extra buttons but i dont know how much ipac can handle.

: thanks
