depends on how thick your control panel is. Mine was 5/8s and I used wood screws and it was holding up fine. Some people like to bolt for authenticity. Since the new trackball mounting plate I have eliminates boltholes through the top of the control panel I didn't want them for the joysticks.

: Hey everyone. I am just wondering what is the best way to mount the joystick. Should I drill the 4 corner holes, and use nuts and screws to hold it in? Or should I just use straight up screws. I am just a little unclear how to do this. Please help. Thanks.
