Another Marquee Mounting Question

Ok. I finally (after a few weeks of planning, drawing, reworking, redrawing, etc of my cabinet design) cut the wood for my cabinet. I know that I am still a ways away from a finished product, but I like to plan ahead. Anyhow, my cabinet is going to have a curved marquee (kind of like Robocop cabinets) in which it bows outward. I've already tested the flexibility of Plexiglas, and that won't be the problem. The problem is how do I mount it to the cabinet. I designed it so that the top piece and the speaker panel pieces are parallel to each other, and "stick out" in an arc from right to left.

My thought when designing this was to pre-drill holes in the plexiglas, and in the wood, and use a few screws to hold it on. I wasn't sure how much luck I would have with the screws biting into the wood... Would the hold, or would they get loose and pull out. I do not need to remove the plexiglas, as I plan on having an access point in the back to replace the light bulb when needed, but if I could get it off, that would be nice too....

Any thoughts from anyone?
