The beauty of building them from mice is that you need no interface, just use the mouse PSB and cord (Ps2, serial, or USB - your choice, another nice option). You do need one mouse per device, but at $5 each - who cares. I'm currently running 2 serial spinners (built using mice), a ps2 trackball (CompUSA), and a USB mouse (MS Intellieye scrolling) for regular computer use. The beaty of Win 98 is that I can use them all simultaneously to move my cursor/pointer.

: I know the OPTI-PAC is on hold but gotta question. If I were to build 2 spinners, (X and Y) from a mouse, could I wire that up to an OPTI-PAC? And if I did that, would I still be able to use a HAPPs trackball and install a switch to swap between the TB and spinners?
