: probelms that were discussed quite a bit on the old message board, the most famous being
: the unalterable 'Space bar' gui caller and 'Left Shift' being unusable as an action button. Oh
: yeah, and the fact that F1-F4 control the player and coin keys (Which is fixable, albeit a pain
: in the butt. ). This method would've worked fine, but it seems that quite a few of these
: emus have a few undocumented features that are triggered by keys that are not alterable (Again,
: Callus comes quickly to mind.)

A note about some of these troubles would go well into the chart
I did indeed come up with a 'perfect' layout. I've been using it for a few months
: now without any problems.

Share it!

: Has anyone else out there encountered similar problems? Is anyone out there thinking
: of including all four of these emus? Basically, I was wondering if posting my findings
: would be valuable to anyone. I figured it may be a good addition to the new game/emulator
: section in the works on this page. I've been sitting on a lot of information which I was
: to include on a web site which was to be constructed shortly after I finished my machine,
: but it's been months now, still no site, and I really don't want any of my findings to go to
: waste.

I've had simular probs with Gameboy and SNES emus alot, but I only run mame for arcade.

: By the way, Along with my layout, I also have the edited Callus config file that gets the player
: and coin keys remapped to buttons 1-4, and the proper config files to get all four emus
: running under ARCADEOS.

Share, share, share!
