I'm plenty happy with my ATI Xpert 98 card on an arcade monitor, but what'd really make me silly with joy is if there was a way to hack my the card's bios to use an arcade monitor compaitble video mode at startup so the picture isn't all scrambled until the front end loads.
What think, you hacker types? Too scary to hack the bios? If I understand, the motherboard just tells the video card what mode it wants at startup. If the video registers for that mode were all changed to a 15.75 kHz mode, wouldn't it work?
