I want to build a new computer to be used as a dedicated MAME machine to be used on an arcade monitor. I want my videocard to be able to display 16-bit color on an arcade monitor. It looks like VSyncMAME is the way to go.

I can buy a Voodoo 3 card if I need to but what about the SiS6326 series of video cards as recommended by Suzuki2go on his website? Would this card be just as good as a Voodoo 3 card?

Also, the Asus P5S-B Socket 7 motherboard has the SiS 530 AGPset onboard. This same chipset is mentioned in Suzuki2go's SiSMAME. Is this 530 AGPSet the same thing as the SiS6326 series?

What I am getting at is could I buy this Asus mainboard with the SiS 530 AGPset and use VSyncMAME on an arcade monitor without buying a dedicated videocard?

I forgot to mention, this new machine will run DOS only and only be used for MAME on a real arcade monitor.

Lastly, I am thinking of buying an AMD K6-2 550MHz processor (100MHz FSB) for this mainboard, is this a better choice than an Intel Celeron (66MHz FSB) on a Celeron compatible mainboard?
