Do you notice a performance boost while using smartdrive? I wouldn't think it would help since the roms get loaded into memory before it runs.
: Heh.... more memory is always good. I know its Dos mame, but are you running it in windows? A windows DOS box? or pure dos? If you use pure dos, are you using smardrive? I am trying to figure out how much mem to allocate to smartdrive.
