Heh.... more memory is always good. I know its Dos mame, but are you running it in windows? A windows DOS box? or pure dos? If you use pure dos, are you using smardrive? I am trying to figure out how much mem to allocate to smartdrive.
I have 128 meg.

: Celeron 466, 66MHZ bus motherboard, onboard video and sound. For a long time I couldn't get MK to run at full speed so I started doing some testing with memory and here is what I found.

: I did some initial testing and wanted to share the results.

: The above config with 32MB ram = 70% frame rate
: The above config with 64MB ram = 96% frame rate
: The above config with 96MB ram = 100% frame rate

• I Use the following on my 128mb system Smartdrv 8192 /x (no problems here) use 2048 for 32mb and 4096 for 64mb. Andy Geez 6/02/2000 (0)
