I don't beleive that there is any other advantage than having the real arcade feel. This is obviously more important to some than others. The 19" monitor definitly has an advantage in the resolution and dot pitch, not to mention, it's plug-and-play. For some people, it is a giant plus to be able to use windows. I mean, you've got this beefy $1000 (at least) computer in there, you might as well use it.

Of course the other alternative is to go with a TV. I plan on doing this because it is a low cost alternative and you can get a much larger display for your money. I don't mind not having a rotatable screen if it's a 27". Get me?
