If you really want a 4-way joystick buy a control panel with a Happ Super-8, you can switch it to 4-way mode and it works great for Pac-Man. Look in the Alternatives section for HotRod, ZipStik or Stick-It.
: Does anyone here know of a 4-way joystick for the PC? I'd like to get one for playing games like Pac-Man and Donkey Kong, but all the joysticks I see in the stores are 8-way fighter sticks for flight simulators. I'd even settle for a 4-way joystick for a video game console that I can interface to the PC using one of the adapters mentioned on this site. I'd like something ready-made that I can purchase at a store (or on-line) until I get the time and courage to try and build my own :-)
