: If you really want a 4-way joystick buy a control panel with a Happ Super-8, you can switch it to 4-way mode and it works great for Pac-Man. Look in the Alternatives section for HotRod, ZipStik or Stick-It.

Thanks for the reply. Actually, I already have an ArcadePC with the HotRod control panel (2 Happ Super-8's). I switched one of them to 4-way mode last night by flipping the actuator. The problem is, when I have visitors over that want to play 2-player 8-way games, I need to switch it back again. I was thinking of building a small control panel that consists of a Wico 4-way joystick dead center. I really don't need any buttons on it because I can use the buttons on my HotRod. I'd set it on top of the pull-out tray and store it away when I'm not using it. Since I've never soldered before, and I'm already using my joystick port for the GS Gun System, I'm thinking about going with the I-PAC to interface the controller with the USB port so it doesn't interfere with the HotRod (which connects to the PS-2 port). Any suggestions?
