I would think its the video card.. but i'm not sure. Make sure that the card supports VESA 2.0 or higher... some need a TSR to do that. Just a thought.

: Not all arcade monitors seem to support 640x480, if I use "-monitor arcade -640x480" on my machine I get an error saying display mode not availible, although this could be due to the video card I'm using????
