: : Ive just bought this joystick card the manual says that for get it to work I must disable my joystick port that it is built-in my sound card
: : Ive got a sound blaster awe64 how I can disable the joystick port>?? thanks

: If in windows:
: Go into the control panel and dbl click System.
: Now click the Device Manager tab.
: You should see a list of different types of devices.
: Click the Sound,Video and Game Controllers(in 98,should be similar in 95).
: Select gameport and then click properties.
: Now click the box that says Disable in this hardware profile(or something similar).
: Now it is disabled. If it asks you to restart the machine go ahead and do so.

: I had to do the same when I installed my L4 card from PDPI. Its listed in the Interfaces section.
: It is an awesome little card. Handles 4 joysticks at once. I am thinking about adding a second one
: so I can play 6 players X-men properly.

OK Ill try it! thank you
