: Ive just bought this joystick card the manual says that for get it to work I must disable my joystick port that it is built-in my sound card
: Ive got a sound blaster awe64 how I can disable the joystick port>?? thanks

If in windows:
Go into the control panel and dbl click System.
Now click the Device Manager tab.
You should see a list of different types of devices.
Click the Sound,Video and Game Controllers(in 98,should be similar in 95).
Select gameport and then click properties.
Now click the box that says Disable in this hardware profile(or something similar).
Now it is disabled. If it asks you to restart the machine go ahead and do so.

I had to do the same when I installed my L4 card from PDPI. Its listed in the Interfaces section.
It is an awesome little card. Handles 4 joysticks at once. I am thinking about adding a second one
so I can play 6 players X-men properly.
