Hi,
-NTSC just gives you all the 60Hz modes, which won't give you a picture high enough
to fit a vertical game onto a horizontal arcade monitor.
use
-MONITOR ARCADE
instead, this includes all 15.75kHz modes , and gives you a 224x288 mode (which runs at closer to 50 Hz)
and will let you play most vertical games without clipping.

You may need to adjust the vertical sync or your monitor to use it though.

: Hey, is there a way to get the whole picture of a vertical game showing when using mame with the -ntsc switch? I can't really use them in my cabinet otherwise cause you can't really use Pgup Pgdn!

: BTW I live in Cornwall UK, things are getting very very VERY busy here cause of the eclipse!!!!
