I just got my Wingman warrior and I would like to use the spinner from it in
an arcade cabinet control panel using a similar mouse set-up to the one described.
by PacFan. Could someone post in a bit more detail
(where the wires go on the mouse PC board, etc.) how the small PC board
in the Wingman is wired to a mouse decoder? Also, does this
arrangement require the "rest" of the Wingman to be used for the mouse-spinner to
work? In other words, can I disconnect the spinner and its PC board from the rest of
the Wingman and throw everything else out?
I am using another encoder which I built from a hacked
Gravis Firebird for all of the other arcade controls - it works great. Thanks!
BTW if someone has an alternative way to use the Wingman Warrior spinner in a
cabinet, please post how to do that too!
