After I finish restoring my car, which should be finished
by spring, I planned on conquering the following plan.
It's a bit emu related, not so much arcade related, but
definitely in the same vein as the arcade machine. Take
a read, see what you think.

With my previous project, I took arcade emus and shoved
;em back into the arcade machine. Why not take the console
emus and shove em back into the console? The plan is simple,
and I'm probably not the first to conceive it, but it should be
a fun project. Think of it: Atari, Colecovision, Oddysey,
Intellivision, Commodore 64, and 8-Bit NES all in one set top box!

If all goes as planned, you would have a proper set of original,
'hacked' joysticks to go with each system. I haven't decided which
route I'll go with the interfacing. Strange keyboard hack mod, parallel
port, or joystick port. I have a feeling the the joystick port
will work best and easiest w/ the older console mods.

Here's where you guys may be able to help me out:
I really don't want this huge 'clunker' of a computer hanging out
on my coffee table. What is the best way to 'shrink' a standard
ATX machine? A couple yeard ago, I had a 386 'slimline' machine
made by a company called 'KLH' the entire desktop unit was no larger
than a laptop. I can kick myself for tossing it, but the most unique
part of it's design was that is used full-sized, standard ISA slots.
It merely had a an 'L' shaped adapter that allowed the cards (up to two)
to lay on their side. Does anyone know where I can fins something like this?
The other hurdle is a power supply -- I've been looking around for smaller
ones, but can't find 'em. Any ideas? I'm not worried about the case just yet.
I may actually have more fun making my own. I was even thinking of sculpting
a design out of clay, and making a resin mold.

Just sounds like a bit of fun... Tell me what you guys think!

-Mike
