This isn't an answer, but I just got an Ultra Impact in the mail today too. Tryed it out and it works very poorly. I tryed it in ZSNES, and it takes a LONG time for a button press to be registered. That is, if it registers at all. It makes it completely unusable. I just downloaded the microsoft sidwinder drivers from download.com. Maybe they will help. I was just setting down to do a little more testing with it. I am quite disapointed considering I already own a couple of PSX/N64 to USB adapters that work perfectly well. I only got the Ultra Impact because sidewinders are compatable with DOS emulators.
