I just received the Ultra Impact PSX -> PC gameport converter. It recoginizes my sony PSX pad, and sony Dual Shock pad. It works with all games that support the sidewinder gamepad. However I am experiencing ghosting in the 2nd player's d-pad. Occasionally I get a up or left movement when i didn't press the button. This happens with many emulators like mamew and mame32. However there is no ghosting when i test in the control panel. I am using Windows 2000, DirectX 8.0a on A PIII-933Mhz

I think I may have got a defective Ultra Impact. I have a few days before I can return it. Do other users experience this ghosting effect? I have found that if I load the program JoyToKey (A Windows Joystick - keyboard mapper program), the ghosting is gone! But this could be because JoyToKey is filtering out the input before it arrives to mamew. After getting all excited about the Ultra Impact, I kinda feel left down, it is almost what it's promised to be, except due to the Ghosting.
