: Plexi-glass will be one of the hardest things you'll work with (yes it is available at home depot). Its very difficult to cut without the proper tools, and drilling holes requires the proper bits. Be prepared for it to break. Its tough to find 1.13 inch bits for plexiglass. You may need to take your layout to a plastics or glass company and have them do it.
: Another option that gives a similar result as plexiglass (more permanant though), is Build 50 (www.behrpaint.com/50.html) from home depot. Its that thick laquer covering that is used on bars and tables in restaurants. It runs about 40 bucks which could possibly be cheaper than ruining a few sheets of plexi-glass or taking it to a glass company.
: hope this helps.

Oh wow...well plexiglass is pretty much out then, no way I'm taking it to a store to get cut, and from what it sounds like I won't be able to do it myself.

The link to the build 50 paint (I'm assuming its a paint) was broken so I didn't see it...but isn't $40 a little steep? Is that for a huge can of the stuff or something? I don't know that average cost of paint or anything, but is a can that high? I mean...as it is now its costing around 40 for my whole thing...hmm, I guess I need to just go visit home depot (but its so far...ugh, want to make as few trips as I can. =))

Hmm...so is there any cheap clear plastic or paint or -something- that can be overlayed on the panel that can be cut/drilled easy? I was planning on having some graphics underneath it, but I could do without if needed.
