Joystick of course. Keyboards keys are either on or off. Joysticks allow for an infinite number of positions. This means you don't have to pull the steering wheel in the game all the way to the right or left. You can steer just a little or a lot.
This also means you won't spend the entire time against the wall.
Not much of a project here.
