: No way! It would be a great hands-on demonstration for a project that explains the difference between an analog and a digital signal.

: Erin, here's something to help you out:
: Look up some information on how an analog signal (music or any other sound is a good example) is converted to and represented by a digital signal (like what is done with the telephone or a compact disc). Then question why that if both a phone and a CD use a digital signal why does a CD sound so much better? It's because the CD has a much higher sample rate!
: You can also show how a sine wave would be represented by a digital signal.

: [Time to make this suit the message board a little bit!!] =)
: Now set up MAME running Star Wars. Bring your home-built stand-alone arcade control panel (or your stand-up arcade cabinet if you really want to impress them!!) and an analog joystick (or a Star Wars yoke). Let the people first play the game using the Happs Super-8 on your control panel for a feel of digital control. Then let them play it using the joystick (or yoke) for an example of analog control. You'll have the busiest booth in the show!

Thanks!!! That is a great idea.
