: : I have the following in my autoexec.bat

: : C:\OPTIDRV\CTMOUSE /1
: : C:\OPTIDRV\OPTIDRV /2

: : I run mousechk.exe and when I move the primary spinner the x coordinate changes like it is supposed to. When I move the secondary spinner the x coordinate doesn’t change but if I move the spinner in 1 direction the buttons change from 0 to 1 and back, but only as I spin in that direction. Any ideas anyone?

:
: I would try these command line functions:

: /M - Force Microsoft mode (2 buttons)
: /T - Force Logitech MouseMan mode (3 buttons)
: /S - Force Mouse Systems mode (3 buttons)

: For the two trackballs that I have, I use the /M switch.

: so my lines look like this:
: C:\MAME\MOUSE\CTMOUSE /1 /M
: C:\MAME\MOUSE\OPTIDRV /2 /M

: What OS are you using? Can DOS locate the com ports?

: Let me know if I can help :)
: TM
