: I have the following in my autoexec.bat
: C:\OPTIDRV\CTMOUSE /1
: C:\OPTIDRV\OPTIDRV /2
: I run mousechk.exe and when I move the primary spinner the x coordinate changes like it is supposed to. When I move the secondary spinner the x coordinate doesn’t change but if I move the spinner in 1 direction the buttons change from 0 to 1 and back, but only as I spin in that direction. Any ideas anyone?
I would try these command line functions:
/M - Force Microsoft mode (2 buttons)
/T - Force Logitech MouseMan mode (3 buttons)
/S - Force Mouse Systems mode (3 buttons)
For the two trackballs that I have, I use the /M switch.
so my lines look like this:
C:\MAME\MOUSE\CTMOUSE /1 /M
C:\MAME\MOUSE\OPTIDRV /2 /M
What OS are you using? Can DOS locate the com ports?
Let me know if I can help :)
