Yeah, they "Work".... but... I have a large problem w/ e-machines (probably because my Job revolves around computers).
My father bought one for my sister, and while they are a "functional" computer, they are VERY BAREBONES.. Onboard EVERYTHING, no AGP, very few if ANY free pci/isa slots, and I believe 1 extra drive bay.
If you're not planning on doing any upgrading, I'd get one.
If you ARE, I'd just get a motherboard and processor, a good fan for your case, and mount it all inside without a tower.. It'll probably cost just about as much as an e-machine, and you'll have the option of using REAL computer components.
