I have 3 prong extension cord with 3 outlets that runs into my cab. The PC plugs into one. The transceiver into one and the appliance mod into the 3rd one.
The firecracker is on the PC and they are only maybe 6 inches apart, all inside the cab. I think it depends on the antenna from the transceiver.
For the most part it works great and it is very easy.
