I wonder if part of the problem is that you are having to go from the Computer Interface to the Tranceiver (located somewhere else) to the Appliance Module? I'm planning on going right from the computer interface to the Tranceiver, so maybe I won't see that problem. However, I could live with a 1 out of 50 failure rate :)

: I'm using that exact setup except I have an additional appliance module instead of using the transceiver for the cab. It is rated at 20A (maybe 15A) and has a three prrong plug for my cabinet.

: Once in a while the cab will fail to turn on. A problem with X10 no doubt. It happens maybe 1 out of 50 times on. If it fails to turn on I switch the cab off then back on and the appliance module senses it and will flip on automatically.
