Battlezone key mappings?

I just finished up my control panel (pics coming soon...I promise!), but I have a question for y'all. What key mapping in Battlezone would be most correct? I only see U/D/L/R and the four diagonals...but how would this translate to two super-8 sticks? Any ideas?
