: A standard computer monitor, will run windows, and play all games, and cost less $. A 19" computer monitor is much less than a 19" arcade monitor.

Option 1) HAPP 19" Standard Arcade Monitor --------- $175
Option 2) Cheapest 19" Computer Mon on Pricewatch -- $202
Option 3) By arcade game from local arcade --------- $90
(old ATARI cab with 19" display)

Hmm.... maybe not alot less, but definitely in the range to rethink this, again. :)

: Nonetheless here are the answers to your questions.

Thanks!

: Q1) Yes, i've seen it work in 16 color mode, hard to navigate around in though. It may support higher resolutions, we were afraid to try it.

I knew windows would look really sucky, but as long as it was usable it would be all I need. I was afraid maybe windows wouldnt even support a resolution as low as a standard arcade monitor.

: Q2) It depends on how you mount the screen. Yes it will work, but if you mount the screen vertically horizontal games, squish up and vise versa if you place it horizontally.

*nod*

: Q3) None that I have seen, but probably there are a few. All of the classics work.

Excellent.

Thanks muchly for the help. :)
